Our Cubbies who play at Wrigley, hallowed be thy names:
Hartnett and Pafko
Jenkins and Santo
Ryno and Andre
Sammy and Gaetti
Reuschel and Sutter
Mark Grace and The Shooter
Keith Moreland, Bull Durham, and Jody Davis
Dave Kingman, Bill Buckner, and Ivan Dejesus.
Down on our knees to Ernie and Billy
We pray to the Smiths, both Dwight and Willie
All of these Cubs we call upon now
to grant us salvation, as we say Holy Cow
Give us this day
a home opener win
and let us believe
that two consecutive over 500 seasons is not a sin.
